oh how I love me some roses

 Lets just start this post off by me saying that this week has been the BEST week of my life :] I got a boyfriend ( who by the way is the sweetest boy on earth ), was given roses, and had my 2nd first kiss :] 

So rose story first. I went down to visit him at work ( Little Ceasers) on Thursday after my institute class with Annekke, and brought him a subway sandwich. He had told me that he had a surprise for me when I came, but wouldn't hint what it was. So I got there and he went into the back for a few minutes then came out with something behind his back. I was kinda freaking out at this point. Then he pulls out a dozen of the most beautiful pink roses I have ever seen :] The people in the store were looking at us funny, but I didn't care. I got roses from the sweetest boy :]

And now onto the kiss.......

So Friday night Chris, Annekke and I went to Maceys and got Nutella and Chips Ahoy then walked over to Sonic to eat them. Haha it was FUNNY!!  This was also when we figured out our song. Smile by Uncle Kracker "] Perfect fit "] Then I went to take Chris home, and susupposedly meet his aunt and uncle. So we get to his house, and he knocks at the door but no one answers, so we just stand there hugging for a good 20 minutes. Then Annekke yelled out a quote from asdf movie 5....... " hey, you guys should kiss!!!" Chris shot back with, " Shut up! We're having a moment!" haha oh how I love my friends.  Anyways, so we were having a "moment" and he told me he loved me, then was staring at me and started leaning down and then BAM!!! No, it was quite romantic :] Amazing actually. 

Yeah, this week has been like a dream for me :] And there's much more to come.......Annekke and I have like 20 double dates planned for the summer :] This will be the BEST summer EVER!!!

and the rest is history...

So much has happened since sweater swing... seeing as that is the last time I posted anything :p

First off would be the Festival of Colors... it was pretty fricken cool!!! I didn't even buy any chalk, and I was still COVERED within like 20 minutes... ;p Prett y epic if I do say so myself :]  Even if I was only there for an hour and a half :p

Next up is Morp. This year the theme was "Super Heroes". So what do we do??? Make capes!!! yeah that's right :] I took Stephen, Annekke took Wes, Shay took Conner and Michelle took Josh. And as you can see, my date was the best cuz he was Ironman :] He has a fan in his brace from when he broke his back, and he now has a fan that GLOWS!!! Yeah, it was basically the BEST costume at the ENTIRE dance :] Yeah, my date was the coolest :] 

Then there was the Avengers midnight premiere :] Soooo worth the lost sleep :] There were eight in our group, Me, Stephen, Brady, Kate, Shelbey, Tiff, Kylie, and Heidi. I didn't get home till around 4 a.m. :p Totally worth it :] We went to the Cinnemark in American Fork, and guess who was there.... IRONMAN!!! Yeah man!!! and so we had to get a picture.. oh i forgot to mention I also got extra credit for doing this :] Thank you Reeves!!! So yeah it was AWESOME!!!

Then there was the Senior Sluff Day at Lagoon. It RAINED!!!! Yes, rained. For three hours straight. And me and Annie were SOAKED!!! (as you can see in the picture, which was taken after around 30 minutes of being in that blasted rain) But it was still fun :] I left around noon, and then apparently it got better... WHAT!!! Oh well :] Still fun.

And last but not least, there's GRADUATION!!! :] Yes, after 13 years of hard work, I finally made it :] My graduation present was the laptop that I am typing this on :] along with about $120 from relatives :] Then was the SENIOR ALL NIGHT PARTY which was AMAZING!!! They had a comedian, inflatable bouncy toys, FOOD, a photo booth, storytime with Newman and Bayles, and a NEON dance :] it went from 11:30 to 4..... and I stayed up ALL NIGHT!! Yes please!! :]

Oh and I got a job up in SLC with my dad. What do I do? Put things in boxes and get them ready to ship... for $9 an hour!!! :] super easy!! :]

sweater swing: footloose edition

 Sweater Swing was a blast from the past!! I asked Evan Taylor, and it was awesome. So i asked him with a bottle of his favorite beverage, and attached a note that said, " Evan Taylor, it would be great if you would 'Pop' on over to sweater swing with me." I know, I'm so clever. :p And then he answered me back with.... Mtn. Dew!!! As you can see, it said, "Jessika, I 'Dew' want to swing with you!" Um yeah, so basically both me and my date are pretty awesome like that. :P

 My mom did our pictures by an old barn near my house. The theme was "Footloose"so i had my mom's old 80's belt, and earrings, necklace and even her class ring. Then I did the whole off shoulder sweatshirt thingy. Evan's dad was in the original Footloose movie, so he knew exactly what to wear. :P

My bff Amelia Rasmussen and her date Josh Rebollo were the other couple in our group. It was soo fun!!

Since the theme was "Footloose", we thought a foot shot would be appropriate. So we did just that :]




We went bowling at Jack and Jill Lanes in AF, then went to Pizza Pie Cafe in Provo. Ooooh how I love that place!! Sometimes Evan and I like to make semi serious faces because we can :P

So yeah, that was probably one of the best girls choice dances I've been to this year :]

birthday fun

 

So for my 18th birthday party back in February, my friend's band Bonne Nuit came and played in my garage. New meaning for garage band :p They were AMAZING! They even played a song that I asked them to, as a birthday present to me :] The song was For You I Will by Teddy Gieger. It was sooo good. Those guys can ROCK! They also let me join in at the end of I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jett. LOVED IT!! 

long time no blog

 So I haven't posted anything forever and a half. So I will just make a few different posts about what's been going on in my life lately.

First post is about Sweethearts. It was my first ever boys choice dance in the history of my life. It was AMAZING! My friend Austin Rushton asked me, and of course I said yes :] There were three couples in our group. Me and Austin, Kaden, Todd and their dates ( i can't remember their names)

My dress took a while to find, but eventually I found it!! On clearance for $40 at 2Love at the mall. I loved it :] And the corsage Austin got me was beautiful :] My friend Julie made the boutineer. A white rose that had ribbon that matched my dress. 

Austin bought me a rose at the dance too. The colorguard was selling them for a fundraiser, so he got me one :]

So, as you can see I have been accepted to SUU!! Yeah Man!! Soo excited to go down there for school! Basically one of the best things that has happened this year :]
