First off, sorry for the delay in posting and the lower quality photos this week. It's been fairly busy. I got a new job and between that and my summer class, life's been pretty busy during the week. I finally found some time this morning to snap a quick photo or two and post an update before I'm off on other weekend adventures :)
Things don't look too good for the little plants. There are now only 5 left, and one looks like it's on the way out with another being eaten by bugs. I did some research on the flower packet I had, and apparently, you're supposed to plant them late spring. I guess this summer is just too hot for them to really thrive. Lesson learned I suppose. I moved them from the back yard where they were getting the full heat of the afternoon sun to the front porch where they get more of the cooler morning sun. We'll see if that helps with the heat problem at all. I'm hoping the larger ones will at least have a flower or two (assuming they last that long, and aren't consumed by bugs).
